Have you heard about the Muncie Public Library's BIG READ? This national initiative through the National Endowment for the Arts encourages communities to come together through the shared experience of reading and discussing a great book.
On Saturday, March 28, at 2:30pm, the David Owsley Museum of Art is partnering with MPL to host a community chat about "Bite by Bite: Nourishments & Jamborees" by Aimee Nezhukumatathil. This book discussion will be led by Paige Waters from the Department of Media and is for ages 14 and older, with no admission fee and no registration required.
As the MPL says, "it’s more than just reading—it’s about connecting with your neighbors, exploring new ideas, and celebrating the power of stories." Join us in the galleries for this fun conversation about food, family, and tradition, and connect with others from our community.
