Career growth conversations are one of the most underused tools you have, and in higher ed—where upward mobility is limited and burnout is real—they may be one of the most important. Your Ball State University membership with Academic Impressions gives you what you need to prepare: the Five Paths Self-Assessment to clarify your priorities, and Sophia, your AI leadership coach, to help you practice.

But knowing what these conversations look like and being in one are two different things. In this session, you'll experience both. We'll walk through a live career growth conversation, giving you a firsthand feel for how it works from your side of the table—how to frame your ideas, where it can go, and what happens when you bring your authentic priorities into the room. You'll leave with the confidence and language to make it real.
