Mrs. Mearns has more than two decades of experience in executive recruiting and sports marketing. Mearns started her career as a Public Relations Assistant at Madison Square Gardens. She then spent two years as a Media Liaison with the Men’s International Professional Tennis Council (now the ATP Tour), traveling 30+ weeks a year, generating media for the world’s top men’s tennis professionals. She later negotiated and managed global sports and entertainment sponsorships and merchandising programs for clients including IBM, Nabisco, Haagen-Dazs, Lufthansa German Airlines, and MasterCard. In 2003, Mearns founded JPM Consulting Services, which provides executive recruiting and talent acquisition support to companies in manufacturing, logistics, and financial services. Mearns holds a B.S. from Bryant University, where she served for nine years on the Board of Trustees. She actively serves on several not-for-profit boards focusing on education, philanthropy, and children and families in need.
