Join us for the first WE FLY FEST! The FREE event will include entertainment, information booths, games and activities for the whole family, campus tours, and much more!

WE FLY FEST will begin at the Brown Family Amphitheater at 5 p.m. with information tables, games, a DJ, and food trucks. Pick up one of the many self-guided campus tour brochures or hop on the bus for a Student Experience tour. Then let's all meet back at the amphitheater at 7 p.m. for a concert by the BALL STATE STUDIO BAND!

THIS JUST IN: Three former NFL Players with local ties will be participating in We Fly Fest!


The guys will be running a few drills with the kiddos and talking about all things football!

  • Brandon Hayes - who attended Muncie Southside High School - played with the Carolina Panthers 
  • Corey Parchman - Ball State grad - played with the Jacksonville Jaguars 
  • Johnathan Newsome - who attended Ball State -  played with the Indianapolis Colts

Free Parking

Parking is free in all Ball State lots and garages.

Join us for the second WE FLY FEST! This FREE event will include live entertainment, booths, lawn games, food trucks, and activities for the whole family at the Brown Family Amphitheater!

Three Ball State student bands will perform at this year's event - Mason Hasting, Nobody (K)new, and Blind Hog. Special MC will be Miss Ball State Katey Cooper. And you will have the opportunity to meet Ball State coaches!

WE FLY FEST Community Bus Stops (taking you to and from the event) will be located at Canan Commons (right after the Ball State PBS Be My Neighbor Day event), the Common Market, and the P.O.P. Shop. 

This is a shine only event.

Community Shuttles

Ball State shuttles will begin picking up community members for We Fly Fest at 3:45 p.m. and will run on a continuous loop from each location to Ball State and back. Final pickup from these locations will be at 5:45 p.m. The final buses (returning to community stops) will depart campus at 7:30 p.m.

Shuttle Locations:

  • Canan Commons (right after the Ball State PBS Be My Neighbor Day event)
  • Common Market, 900 W. 8th St.
  • P.O.P. SHOP, 904 E. Willard St.

Approximate pick up times at the Community Bus Stops:

  • 3:45 p.m.
  • 4:15 p.m.
  • 4:45 p.m.
  • 5:15 p.m.
  • 5:45 p.m.

Student Experience Bus Tours

  • Offered at 4:30, 5:30, and 6:30 p.m.
  • Tour around campus highlighting all of the cool opportunities.
