Event Details

Glass artist Kit Paulson will elucidate her 25 years in glassmaking. In Paulson’s body of work, delicate detail and historical precepts converge to create objects that strike a fragile balance between the known and the unknown object. Predominantly working in borosilicate glass, Paulson’s intricate networked forms showcase a complex craft.

From beginnings in furnace glass, through sidetracks in production work, and forays into flameworking, Kit will describe the trajectory of her work and the ideas that accompany it.

This event is sponsored by the School of Art and the Marilyn K. Glick Center for Glass.

This event is free and open to the public.
