Please join us once again for the 6th Annual Robert J. Morris Chemistry Symposium.
This year’s event will be held on Friday, April 5th, at 3:30pm in the Foundational Sciences Building, FB-101.
Reception with refreshments will begin at 3pm.
Our keynote speaker will be Dr. Kyle Crabtree, ’06 BSU Alumnus. He will present “Exploring the astrochemical origins and intramolecular dynamics of N-containing rings with rotational spectroscopy.”
Student Presentations by: Joel Moss (Bwambok Research Group) & Jennifer Fields (Rayat Research Group)
Dr. Crabtree graduated with a B.S. in Chemistry from Ball State in 2006 and is a former student of Dr. Robert Morris. He went on to earn his PhD from the University of Illinois in 2012 and is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry at UC Davis. His research lab uses molecular spectroscopy and ab initio quantum chemical calculations to solve problems in the field of astrochemistry.
