Virtual Preview Day

Saturday, April 24, 2021 | 10 a.m.–1 p.m. Eastern

This virtual event allows you to explore a variety of academic departments and majors at Ball State. Tour our beautiful campus and learn about our admission criteria, student life, scholarships, and financial aid all from the comfort of your own home. Preview Day is the perfect event for a current high school sophomore or junior beginning their college search. Space is limited so be sure to register early!

Ball State 101

Ball State hosts a virtual campus visit presentation on the following days and times:

  • Tuesdays at 7 p.m. EST.
  • Wednesdays at 4 p.m. EST.

We’ll teach you all about Ball State from the comfort of your own home. Our admissions staff members will guide you through the admissions process, discuss our academic options, and chat about what makes life as a Cardinal so great. We’re eager to virtually meet you and answer your questions in a live Q&A.

Chat With a Cardinal

Register for a virtual Q&A session with current Ball State students on Thursdays from 4–5 p.m. EST. Join our students in a fun and interactive hour-long virtual session! This is your opportunity to ask questions and learn about what it's like to be a Ball State Cardinal, why they picked Ball State, and more. They’re eager to engage with you in conversation through our virtual chat. Chirp! Chirp!

One-on-One Appointments

Virtual Admissions Appointments

Schedule a one-on-one meeting with one of our assistant directors in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. Our team is ready to answer any questions you have about Ball State.

Virtual Financial Aid Appointments (12 sessions/week)

Schedule a one-on-one, 25-minute meeting with a staff member from the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships. Our team is ready to answer any questions you have about Ball State specific to financial aid. Appointments are available each Monday through Thursday at 3:30 p.m., 4 p.m., and 6 p.m. EST.

Financial Aid Information Sessions

Engage with the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships in a 30-minute virtual presentation on the following days and times:

  • Tuesdays at 4:30 p.m. EST.
  • Wednesdays at 5 p.m. EST.

Join staff for an informative session on the next steps, updates, and other areas of financial aid that you should be aware of. You'll then hear about ways you can personally engage with them after the session to get your individual questions answered.

Virtual Academic Sessions 

Schedule a virtual session to meet with faculty or a representative from your major area of interest! This is your opportunity to engage virtually to learn more, get your questions answered, and learn what it would be like to be a student in that program at Ball State.

Virtual Housing Tours

Join staff from the Office of Housing and Residence Life to virtually tour one of our many residence hall complexes on campus. This is a great way to see the facilities and learn more about the uniqueness of each housing complex and the opportunities for you as a student within each building.

First in Flight Series

"The Information We All Wish We Had as First-Generation College Families and All Families Looking for Additional Information"

Six one-hour virtual sessions exploring a variety of topics are specifically designed for first-generation college families and families needing more information. This series will provide a real, transparent look into the college transition experience. Hear from our admissions and financial aid staff, student support staff, faculty, and current first-generation students and family members. Sessions are on the first and third Wednesday of each month at 7 p.m. EST.
