Facility Tours

Located in the Music Instruction Building, Sursa Performance Hall is a rehearsal, performance, and recital hall that features the latest in acoustic advancements and is home to Ball State's 50-stop pipe Sursa Family Concert Organ.

Completed in 2001, the Arts and Journalism Building (AJ) houses degree programs affiliated with our School of Journalism and Strategic Communication and School of Art. It includes the popular Atrium Food Court, an art gallery, campus bookstore, and our Unified Student Media Lab. AJ, Letterman, and Ball Communications buildings are all connected, forming a communications complex.

The Performing Arts Center will serve as the catalytic agent for The Village revitalization project that is currently in progress, creating a best-in-class, multigenerational district driven by arts and culture, entertainment, and innovation. Schmidt/Wilson Residence Hall

Located in the new north residential neighborhood and renovated in 2017, Schmidt/Wilson Hall is the home of the Art Living-Learning Community.

This state-of-the-art residence hall has centralized air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, a fitness room, spacious lounges and study spaces, a game room, a music room, and a design studio. Schmidt/Wilson Hall is coed and has semi-private bathrooms (a bathroom shared by a small number of students). Furniture within the hall is loftable, allowing students to truly tailor their living space.
