Biography
Dr. Tyler Smith teaches Dramatic Literature, Theatre History and Dramaturgy. He holds a Ph.D. in Theatre History from the University of Ilinois at Urbana-Champaign, an M.A. in Theatre with a Creative Focus in Directing from Miami of Ohio, and a B.A. in English Composition from Denison University. His publications have appeared in Theatre History Studies and Public Theatres / Theatre Publics. While at Ball State, Dr. Smith has directed Big Love and served as production dramaturg on Catastrophe and Camino Real.
