Be the voice of students as a member of the Teachers College Dean’s Advisory Council, which addresses student needs and college priorities with leadership. This respected group also represents Teachers College at various networking and professional events.
Membership, which consists of no more than 18 students, is open to all Teachers College students. You must complete the online application by noon on October 28, 2020. Appointments are for the academic year (August-May), but you may apply each year.
The council will meet with the dean once during the fall semester, and twice during the spring semester. The 2020-2021 meeting dates are as follows:
- November 18, 2020, 12:00 - 1:00 p.m.
- February 24, 2021, 12:00 - 1:00 p.m.
- April 28, 2021, 12:00 - 1:00 p.m.
Attendance at the meetings is necessary for the council to serve its role.
