Lisa Pellerin joined the Department of Sociology at Ball State University in 2001 after receiving her PhD in sociology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She also has MA degrees from the University of North Carolina and Boston University as well as a BA from Wellesley College. Dr. Pellerin currently serves as Director of the Women’s and Gender Studies Program and has served as chair of the University Graduate Education Committee. Dr. Pellerin’s areas of research interest are education, life course, and quantitative methodology. Her publications have appeared in Social Science Research, Social Forces, and Sociology of Education. Dr. Pellerin currently teaches principles of sociology, sociology of education, and graduate regression analysis.
