Research Areas

Dr. Natalie Keirns is a clinical health psychologist who recently completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Miriam Hospital, an affiliate of the Alpert Medical School, Brown University, where she adapted an existing behavioral weight loss intervention for adult women with body image concerns in a NIH funded trial. In graduate school, she served as lead interventionist and trial coordinator for an NIH-funded behavioral weight loss trial, and earned a plethora of (i.e., 16) research-related awards. Dr. Keirns published 23 peer-reviewed research articles to date.
