Chang (Anna) Liu is an Assistant Professor of Finance in the Department of Finance and Insurance at Ball State University. Liu received her PhD in Finance from Georgia Institute of Technology. Her research focuses on (1) behavioral biases in individual decision-making, and (2) optimizing stock selections using unstructured data. Prior to joining Ball State University, she was a Quantitative Investment Researcher at Sumitomo Mitsui Asset Management in New York City. At Sumitomo, she was responsible for developing quantitative long-short trading strategies with value-added alpha.
