Our undergraduate programs in gifted and talented education provide you with an opportunity to increase your expertise in the characteristics of gifted students and will help you design instructional programs and services to meet their academic, social, and emotional needs.
Depending on your needs, you may complete either a:
- minor – ideal for secondary education majors
- concentration – ideal for elementary education teaching majors
Students completing either track and who pass the state exam will meet Indiana's requirements for a license in high-ability education.

Courses
You will create curriculum and differentiated learning experiences that challenge students by developing critical and creative thinking abilities. Further, you will develop and evaluate gifted programs based on best practices in gifted education.
