Our College in partnership with AXIS Architecture professionals, will host a one-week, virtual workshop for high school students in grades 9-12 interested in learning about architecture, site evaluation, ecology, sustainability, planning, sketching, and 3D modeling using SketchUp.
During this workshop, students will design a remote studio space of at least 500 to 750 square feet. The design site includes water, a ravine, and plenty of natural elements.
As students brainstorm what their space will encompass, each day, local design professionals, will virtually visit to share their professional experiences and our experts will provide feedback on their ideas and accomplishments. Through this workshop, participants will have created materials for their portfolios that can be used when applying to college programs.
