Earn a bachelor's degree or master of science in accounting.
The Paul W. Parkison Department of Accounting extends a warm welcome to our incoming freshmen students. We've created a short video message to introduce you to our department.
If you're interested in one of our programs, then you'll need to apply to Ball State. Also, you may be eligible for scholarships just for Miller College of Business student or those in one of our department's own programs. Graduate students can apply for an assistantship or fellowship.
Clubs, internships, and workshops for our students are just a few of the ways you can deepen your understanding of accounting while connecting with your classmates.
Our alumni and industry partners are instrumental to our students' success. Whether it's visiting campus to speak to groups, mentoring them individually, or giving them tours of your own workplace, your involvement has a long and lasting impact.
The Parkison Department of Accounting selected ten outstanding alumni to honor at the 2020 Accounting Alumni Awards dinner. The COVID-19 pandemic required us to cancel the 2020 dinner, and we planned to honor these alumni at the 2021 dinner. However, the pandemic continued, and forced us to cancel the 2021 event as well. We arranged to present these awards in individual ceremonies in April and May 2021.
Enjoy some brief videos with comments from each award presentation for 2020-2021 recipients.
