Unlock Global Learning Opportunities through Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL)!
In today's interconnected world, global perspectives are vital for academic and personal growth. While traditional study abroad programs may not always be accessible, Ball State University offers a dynamic alternative: Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL).
COIL facilitates collaboration between students and faculty across borders, fostering intercultural understanding and enriching academic experiences. Through COIL, Ball State students engage in collaborative projects and discussions with peers from different countries, all within the framework of their coursework.
Join us in our mission to expand global education opportunities for all Ball State students. Whether you're a faculty member eager to integrate COIL into your course or a student seeking a diverse and enriching academic experience, COIL offers a pathway to global citizenship from the comfort of your own campus.
Discover the World with COIL:
- Enrich your coursework with diverse cultural perspectives
- Forge international connections and broaden your network
- Develop vital intercultural competencies for success in today's globalized world
Embark on a transformative global learning journey with COIL at Ball State University! Faculty can participate in the COIL initiative at Ball State University in two ways:
- Faculty-Initiated Projects: Faculty members can propose their own projects and seek international partners.
- COIL Matching Service: Alternatively, faculty members can apply directly, and our team will do their best to match them with suitable international partners and projects. It should be noted that matches are not guaranteed due to our limited resources.
This flexible approach ensures that faculty can realize their project ideas or collaborate with partners through the COIL matching service.
