The BSU Center for Peace & Conflict Studies is deeply grateful to Christiane Habeshy for designing the logo for the Student Peace Conference: A Better World. The Center is also grateful to Chris Satory for making the necessary edits for the continuance of using the logo. Below is a brief statement from the original artist, Christiane. 

This logo is a representation of the conference’s goal- to bring different people together in the effort of making a united, better world. I wanted to represent a coming together of ideas in even the smallest details of the logo, and appeal to the academics, the artists, and everyone in between. The colors are modern and inviting, and the combination of the recognizable globe icon and original, fluid typography and numbers makes this logo a great fit for the Student Peace Conference.
