Students attending a laboratory session with a professor

Research in the Integrative Exercise Physiology Laboratory (IEPL) investigates the functioning of individual cells, systems, and organs as they apply to our understanding of the functioning of the entire human body.

Research produced by our faculty and staff have implications for both health and athletic performance. We provide collaborative opportunities for faculty and students in exercise science, biomechanics, exercise and sport psychology, coaching, and physical education teaching programs.
