Our Mission
The mission of the Center for Autism Spectrum Disorder (CASD) is to provide a state-of-the-art teaching clinic where Ball State graduate students learn and engage in autism diagnostic evaluation and intervention training.
This training allows our graduate students to gain the necessary skills and tools to provide services and resources, in partnership with the community, to cliental, including: intervention, consultation, individual and group student-centered support. We also conduct innovative research to inform practice.
CASD is a program that specializes in autism and is a part of the Ball State University's Special Education Department.
CASD provides psychological services of diagnostic assessment, school consultation, individual and group therapy, caregiver training, and consultation intervention using COMPASS for educational consultation and treatment planning within school environments.
Services are provided by Ball State graduate students with supervision by licensed psychologists and faculty members of Ball State's Special Education Department.
