Summary
Heritage Preservation's Conservation Assessment Program (CAP) provided a general conservation assessment of collections within the Department of Anthropology and Applied Anthropology Laboratories to evaluate facilities, environmental conditions, and policies and procedures relating to collections care.
The CAP report provides
- recommendations and priorities for conservation action, immediate and long-term
- facilitating the development of a long-range conservation plan for collections care and preservation
- serving as a fund-raising tool for future conservation projects
