All UCC proposals are submitted through Watermark Curriculum Strategy (formerly SmartCatalog). Within the Curriculum Strategy course form, answer “yes” to the question “Is this an approved or proposed University Core Curriculum course?” to ensure the proposal routes to the UCC Subcommittee. The UCC cover sheet and syllabus should be attached at the bottom of the form.
Ball State is in the process of implementing a new University Core Curriculum (UCC) planned to launch in Fall 2026. An overview is available on the Office of the Vice Provost for Academic Affairs website.
