The College of Communication, Information, and Media (CCIM) creates challenging educational experiences that prepare students for careers as ethical practitioners and scholars. CCIM redefines the intersection of communication and technology while emphasizing the importance of human interaction. CCIM’s vision is to produce graduates who are leaders and entrepreneurs at heart. They will procure the best jobs prior to graduation and will know how to adapt quickly to a diverse and ever-changing global job market as they pursue fulfilling careers.

The College of Fine Arts empowers our community to ascend as imaginative thinkers, responsible citizens, and adept problem-solvers. At Ball State’s College of Health, our students become compassionate and collaborative professionals who are ready to meet the world’s evolving healthcare and wellness needs. Students gain hands-on experience in state-of-the-art labs, work alongside expert faculty, and engage in real-world learning that starts day one. Our Interprofessional Community Clinics handle more than 17,000 community patient appointments annually. We offer award-winning consultations at the Healthy Lifestyle Center and the Adult Physical Fitness Program—both of which help individuals achieve their fitness goals. And cutting-edge research is conducted at our nationally recognized Human Performance Lab. Our students serve communities, work alongside expert faculty, and graduate with the skills to make a difference.

The College of Sciences and Humanities (CSH) spans the natural and computational sciences; the social and behavioral sciences; and the humanities. Our students pursue their passion by studying what they love and develop skills that empower them to have meaningful lives and fulfilling careers. Working closely with faculty, they do authentic research and immersive learning projects that help students find their purpose by making a difference in the community and beyond. The R. Wayne Estopinal College of Architecture and Planning (ECAP) is built upon a fundamental belief in educating students through experiential learning that connects education with real-world situations. ECAP programs build student awareness of how the design and construction professions make positive change in our communities, while developing each student’s abilities and confidence for long-term professional success and leadership. Our graduates are professionally prepared, ethically grounded, locally engaged, intellectually curious, creatively confident, and globally aware. Through the design and construction of the built environment, graduates of ECAP programs are poised to address critical issues of the 21st century.

Ball State University’s Honors College fosters a community of curious, engaged students through learner-directed, interdisciplinary studies that enhance critical thinking, encourage collaboration, and complement any major. It is home to the Virginia B. Ball Center for Creative Inquiry and the Office of Nationally Competitive Scholarships, which support students and recent graduates through transformative immersive learning experiences, open inquiry, creative investigations, collaborative research, innovative problem-solving, and guidance for applying to nationally competitive scholarships and fellowships that fund impactful research, internships, and study-abroad opportunities.
