Thinking about having your next conference, camp, or special event at Ball State University? Our charges and fees for using various facilities and services on campus are competitive. Ball State charges a conference service fee for off-campus (non-university) groups.

All rates are subject to change. 

Sales Tax
Indiana state sales tax (7 percent), Delaware County innkeeper's tax (5 percent), and Delaware County food and beverage tax (1 percent) are applied to all conference event charges. NO exemption is allowed for any of these taxes in the State of Indiana for events that are 30 days or less in duration.

Loss or Damage Charges
Equipment loss or damage to university facilities is billed to the responsible group at the cost of repair or replacement.

Audiovisual  
Ball State University offers comprehensive audiovisual equipment and advanced technological resources to enhance any conference, camp, workshop, or meeting on campus. Our multimedia classrooms, meeting rooms, and auditoriums feature the latest technology for presentations, while our performance facilities provide state-of-the-art sound and lighting capabilities.

Computers
Computer labs are available for specialized educational purposes, and the university's wireless network enables guests to use laptops and handheld devices throughout the campus without the need to plug in hardware.

Copy and Printing Services
Photocopying and printing projects for conference groups are charged at the actual cost from Ball State's Printing Services.

Dining Cards  
Summer groups are provided with electronic meal cards for dining on campus. For events organized by Ball State, these cards also grant access to recreation facilities.

Mailing and shipping services  
The Student Center Post Office is conveniently located in the basement of the Student Center (SC L15). Please note, the office is closed daily from 2:00PM to 3:00PM

Parking Permits  
Guest parking permits are issued to conference participants at a daily rate.

Recreation Cards

Guest recreation facilities access cards can be purchased from Recreation Services.

Telephone Services

Telephone/data lines can be activated for temporary office use at a rate of approximately $54.00 per month.

Outside Vendor Services
Services provided by non-Ball State vendors are billed to the conference at the university's cost. Conference groups receive copies of purchase orders detailing actual charges.

NOTE: Ball State also charges a conference service fee to non-university groups having an event on campus.
