Bio
Domenic Centofanti may be a recent addition to Ball State, but he’s no stranger to the world of photography. A true Michigander, born and raised in southeast Michigan, he has spent more than 20 years photographing a vast array of subject matter.
His work has been published in dozens of national magazines, including Cosmopolitan, ESPN, Forbes, People, and Sports Illustrated, and his contributions to Getty Images have appeared on hundreds of websites. Among some of Domenic’s accolades are 11 Michigan Press Association awards.
The desire to share his passion for photography with another generation led him to teach in Grades K-12 for eight years, followed by five years as a K-12 principal.
You may see Domenic on the sidelines at Scheumann Stadium or on McKinley Avenue, capturing the beauty of Ball State’s campus and people. Domenic’s excited to be a part of the university’s new vision and finds inspiration in collaboration with colleagues and departments around campus.
Domenic lives in Muncie with his wife, their two children and yellow Lab, Raegan.
