Why Honors?

The Honors College fosters a community where all curious and engaged students are invited to participate in learner-directed interdisciplinary studies that enhance critical thinking skills, encourage collaboration, and complement a student’s major area of study.

The Honors College provides an environment for personal transformation where students see themselves from a fresh perspective at Ball State.

As an Honors student, you may be eligible for some of Ball State's most prestigious and generous scholarships plus exclusive scholarships awarded by the Honors College. University resources can also help you pursue prominent national and international scholarships and fellowships such as the Fulbright, Rhodes, and Udall programs.

Alumni and Friends
