We provide free planetarium shows to the general public almost every week of the year, traditionally with showings on Friday evenings (with variations during holiday breaks and summer). See below for descriptions of our current and upcoming programs as well as showtimes.
The Brown Planetarium will unfortunately be closed until further notice in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Follow us on social media to enjoy our virtual programming.

We take great pride in our ability to provide educational and entertaining programs at no cost to our visitors. That happens largely through financial gifts and the hard work of our volunteers and interns.
We are able to create our own programming, which we lease to other planetariums. Our programs include original animations, 3D models, music, and more, all of which are created on campus in our production dome by our students, staff, and faculty. We offer multiple prices, based on the length of the lease and resolution you need.
