The Barricade Boys is a musical theater vocal group created by two friends and former cast members of Les Misérables who set out to build a concert experience that extends beyond music from the show.
Les Misérables alumni Scott Garnham and Simon Schofield developed the concept as an evening that pairs selections from favorite musicals with pop, rock, swing, and Motown standards. The production features four performers from London’s West End whose shared connection includes appearances in the West End production, international tour, or film adaptation of Les Misérables.
In addition to vocal performances and group harmonies, the program includes stories and behind-the-scenes anecdotes from productions in which the performers have appeared, including Wicked, Billy Elliot, The Phantom of the Opera, The Sound of Music, and Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat.
