Reality TV show “The Song” will film March 9-12 in Muncie, including on Ball State’s campus with help from university students. The program features songwriters performing original music in front of celebrity judges and is expected to air on broadcast television this fall.

She donates proceeds from the bow ties, scarves and other accessories she makes to Ball State University Dance Marathon, which raises money for Riley Hospital for Children.

The Dance Marathon, Ball State’s largest student philanthropic event, begins at 2 p.m. Feb. 20 in the Field Sports Building. It involves more than 1,000 students participating in 12 hours’ worth of dancing, games and other entertainment for a great cause: raising money for Riley Hospital for Children.
