Ball State is creating a comprehensive campus master plan that will help the university develop strategic goals, guiding principles and priorities for the development and use of facilities over the next several decades.
The university is asking for broad and active community engagement in the planning process. Three open houses will be held to kick off the event. Everyone with an investment in the future of the campus and surrounding community is encouraged to attend.

The university has also created an online forum where community members can share ideas, comment on suggestions and collaborate. It can be found at masterplan.bsu.edu. Questions include:
- What about Ball State makes you the most proud?
- What is your vision for Ball State in the next 20 years?
- What is your favorite place on campus and why?
- If you could change one thing about Ball State, what would it be and why?
- How can we create a more connected university and community?
- What areas require the most attention in the master plan process?
Topics will evolve over the course of the planning process. The online community is intended to be the electronic nexus of the project. Check in often to see the latest ideas and discussion.
Questions about the planning process should be directed to Greg Graham, director of facilities planning and university architect at (765) 285-2828 or ggraham@bsu.edu.
