Individuals wanting to learn more about spirituality and religion before and after a loved one's death will be interested in attending the 18th annual Hospice Foundation of America's Living with Grief Program Spirituality and End-of-Life Care at Ball State University.
The Fisher Institute for Wellness and Gerontology and the Community Center for Vital Aging will be hosting the DVD broadcast program: "Spirituality and End-of-Life- Care" from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 13, in the Worthen Arena lounge.
The program costs $20.00, and topics will include differences between spirituality and religion; spirituality during illness, death and grief; spiritual assessment and empowerment and life review.
Frank Sesno, director of the School of Media and Public Affairs at George Washington University, will moderate the program. Continuing education credits will be offered for participants looking to update various licensed disciplines.
