Gora returned to the capitol on March 17 to announce 55 Bold Celebration Scholars, among the first beneficiaries of the $200 million Ball State Bold capital campaign approaching its conclusion in June.

Indianapolis art collector, philanthropist and longtime friend of Ball State Marilyn K. Glick will be awarded an honorary doctorate of arts during the university's spring graduation exercises in May. In September 2010, Ball State dedicated one of its newest buildings, the Glick Center for Glass, also in her honor.
