The Ball State Summer Chorus will present a concert at 7:30 p.m. July 17 in Sursa Performance Hall.

Directed by Jill Burleson and assistant conductor Michael Lister, the concert will feature works from a wide range of musical styles and time periods, including movements from George Frideric Handel's "Judas Maccabaeus," and Franz Joseph Haydn's Mass No. 3 in D Minor as well as Heitor Villa-Lobos's "Ave Maria." In addition to the light classical music, pop, jazz, spiritual and gospel selections will be showcased.

The Summer Chorus features Muncie-area singers and Ball State undergraduate and graduate students.

The concert is free and open to the public.
