Ball State's Board of Trustees has approved tenure and faculty promotions for 2007-08.

Nine faculty members were promoted from associate professor to professor, 16 were promoted from assistant professor to associate professor and 21 were granted tenure.

Promoted to professor were:

  • Carol Flores, architecture
  • John Lorch, mathematical sciences
  • Anthony Mahon, physical education, sport and exercise
  • Kristen Perrone-McGovern, counseling psychology and guidance services
  • William Rogers, biology
  • Sadatoshi Tomizawa, modern languages and classics
  • Allen Truell, information systems and operations management
