Ball State's elementary education department is offering a program to tutor students who are struggling with reading.
Students must be second- through seventh-graders and be reading at least one year below their current grade level. They must have previous formal instruction and oral proficiency in English.
Ten hour-long sessions are available for $50 per student. The cost is $30 per student if two or more children are enrolled from the same family. Financial aid is available.
Session one will meet at 4:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays Jan. 30 to April 10 at the Minnetrista Cultural Center. Session two will meet at 3:30 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays Jan. 29 to April 9 at the Ball State University Art Museum.
No sessions will be held from March 12-15.
