Urban planners are in the business of making communities more equitable, sustainable, and, frankly, more fun. Think of your hometown. Wouldn't it be great to make it a better place for people of your own age and others? Think of the places you love to visit: waterfront parks, bike trails, busy city shopping districts, or quaint small towns. Those don't happen by accident. They happen because of urban planners. The opportunity to join this field is within your reach.

Our two-year Masters of Urban and Regional Planning (MURP) degree will equip you with the skills to enter this exciting field. Our program is open to students from any undergraduate major. Ball State undergraduates may be eligible to begin working on this masters while finishing their undergraduate degree through BSU's Accelerated Master's Program. We'll explain how in this info session!

Jobs in the urban planning field are bountiful and varied. Our graduates work in governmental offices of all sizes, in non-profit community development agencies, and in high-power real estate development firms, to name just a few of the many options. Join our webinar with Dr. Sanglim Yoo, graduate director, and see where you fit in!
