Description: Richard Harris will introduce us to some amazing women who played important roles in American history, such as Sybil Ludington (who rode twice as far as Paul Revere), Victoria Woodhull (the first woman to run for president) and Katherine Johnson (who played a major role in putting John Glenn into space). Harris will discuss these and many more and their vital places in history.
Presenter Bio: Richard Harris is a Ball State retiree. In retirement this history afficionado’s hobby has been developing and presenting talks on a wide variety of American history topics. These talks have ranged from the presidency to inventions and drinks.
