You’re invited to the next event in the 2023-2024 Teachers College Dean’s Lecture Series, which takes place on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, from 3-4 p.m., in TC 1008, where Dr. Maria Hernández Finch will present: “The Parent Play Lab: Making Power of Play to Positively Impact Relationships, Home School Collaboration, and Academic Growth Available to All Learners.”

With the audience, Dr. Maria Hernández Finch will explore an inclusive play model that centers children, parents, and educators as valued consultees and Ball State University students as participant consultants. The model includes training in newer inclusive frameworks and developing related materials and “playful” interventions. A review of current continuing related projects will also be shared.
