About
The School of Art invites the public to attend BEGINNINGS: The Foundations Student Show between August 20 through September 18 during regular gallery hours. An exhibition showcasing art made in the first-year Foundations classes in the School of Art: ADS 101 Foundations: 2D Studio, ADS 102 Foundations: 3D Studio, ADS 103 Foundations: 4D Studio, and AFA 101 Drawing: Studio. Utilizing a variety of media, each artwork on display exemplifies only a few of numerous possible creative options of visual solutions to individual problems, ideas, and concepts put forth by the art faculty members. This is a great chance to see the exciting art being made by some of the School of Art's foundations students!
Reception is from 4 - 6 p.m. on Wednesday, August 28. The exhibition will be in The Ned and Gloria Griner Art Gallery, just off the Atrium Food Court in the Arts & Journalism building. Free and open to the public.
