The Benjamin Gilman Scholarship awards up to $5,000 to Pell Grant recipients who will study, intern, or student teach abroad!
The application deadline for students who’ll be abroad during this coming winter, spring, summer, or fall, or the entire 2026-2027 academic year is in early October.
If you’re interested in applying, or just learning more, please attend an information session next week. These sessions will take place in the Schwartz Digital Viewing Room in Bracken Library on Monday, August 31, at 5-6 and Tuesday, September 1, at 5:30-6:30. Both sessions will present the exact same information, so you only need to attend one.

It takes many hours to craft a winning application, so interested students should start the application process right away!
