Visit the BSU Nature Lab at 11am for Tracks, Trails, & Tales, our weekly summer story time. Gather around the campfire rug to hear a different nature-themed story each week. Story time will be followed by a craft, activity, and/or a guided nature walk. All ages are welcome, but stories and activities will skew towards our younger audience members.
June 16: Wild Summer: Life in the Heat, by Sean Taylor and Alex Morss
Wild Summer shares the story of a young girl visiting her grandfather. During a nature walk, they wonder: do animals want summer to last forever? As they explore a variety of habitats along their nature walk, grandfather and granddaughter discover different ways life can adapt to hot weather.
After story time, visitors are invited to join our Environmental Educator for a guided nature walk, with a short scavenger hunt for children.
