Visit the BSU Nature Lab at 11am for Tracks, Trails, & Tales, our weekly summer story time. Gather around the campfire rug to hear a different nature-themed story each week. Story time will be followed by a craft, activity, and/or a guided nature walk. All ages are welcome, but stories and activities will skew to our younger audience members.
June 10: Mossy, by Jan Brett
- Mossy is an Eastern Box Turtle who grows a garden of native plants on her shell. Taken from her home and put on display in a nature museum, Mossy spends her days educating visitors until she is returned to Lilypad Pond.
- After story time, visitors can create their own Mossy the Turtle using craft materials.
- Beaker, our Eastern Box Turtle ambassador, will join us for story time and show and tell.
