Bryan Cantley is a designer, author, educator, and spatial orchestrator of Form:uLA Dimension Laboratory, a highly experimental design studio on the outskirts of Los Angeles that has conducted architectural research and experimentation since 1992. A professor of design at California State University, Fullerton, Cantley earned his Master of Architecture with honors from UCLA and his bachelor's degree in architecture from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. His work has been published internationally, exhibited at leading institutions around the world, and is part of the permanent Architecture and Design collection at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA). A recipient of a Graham Foundation Grant, an AIA/Orange County Honor Award, and UNC Charlotte's 2024 Distinguished Alumni Award, Cantley is the author of Mechudzu and Speculative Coolness: Architecture, Media, the Real, and the Virtual. He is currently completing his third monograph, Pixelsmear.
