Celebrate our students as they begin their time at the School of Art! The BEGINNINGS 2025 exhibition - running August 19 through September 10 - is a showcase of student artwork completed in the past academic year, featuring work from our four First-Year Foundations courses. Reception is from 4 - 6 pm on Wednesday, August 27.

Compose Your Creative Future and Your Artistic Ensemble – Unleash Your Potential! Kick off your artistic journey at the College of Fine Arts Signature Experience Kickoff! This is your chance to connect with fellow students who will share your signature experience class and meet the professors teaching it. Build essential relationships within the College of Fine Arts, forming your artistic ensemble and finding your creative collaborators. You'll also hear about the many opportunities available later in the semester to develop your unique talents, foster lifelong learning, and practice durable skills in creative contexts.

Artistic Connections & Karaoke with Ice Cream – Find Your Creative Home and Your Stage! Join the College of Fine Arts Living-Learning Community Kickoff for an evening of creative connections and fun! Gain access to the Design Studio, Blackbox theatre, dance studio, and music production workstations. More importantly, this is a vibrant gathering to connect with your peers and faculty, fostering a strong sense of belonging within the College of Fine Arts. You'll also learn about upcoming workshops, performances, and collaborative projects designed to enhance your artistic skills and well-being throughout the semester. The evening will be followed by Karaoke in the lobby! Plus, enjoy some delicious Barking Cow Ice Cream!
