Brian StelterThe Department of Journalism welcomes CNN's Brian Stelter to present "Reporting Truthfully in the 'Fake News' Era" at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27, in Pruis Hall. The event is free and open to the public.

Speech 2018 TeamThe Ball State Speech Team will be showcasing the events the members of the team have been working on, and performing, this Fall at Speech Tournaments.

Bucket Speech SpeakerCOMM 210 will hold a bucket speech competition; selected students will compete with their persuasive speeches. The winning speech will have the money given to the charity or organization targeted in the speech.

The College of Communication, Information, and Media will be hosting it's Spring 2019 SuperParty. Registration begins in the Arts and Journalism building by the stairs at 6:00 p.m.
All Day Event
Mary Beth TinkerThe 64th Annual Journalism Day will bring more than 1,000 middle and high school journalists to campus Monday, March 25, 2019. The theme of the event is “Retro/Relevant: Journalism then, now and forever!” and will celebrate two milestones: the 50th anniversary of the Department of Journalism and the 50th anniversary of Tinker v. Des Moines. The keynote speaker is Mary Beth Tinker.
7:30 p.m.
As part of the Ball State Centennial Celebration, Comm 210 students will showcase speeches on Ball State’s proud past and bold future.
