Both our bachelor’s and master’s degree programs are fully accredited by the Landscape Architectural Accreditation Board of the American Society of Landscape Architects, the national professional association for landscape architects.
Accreditation is a non-governmental, voluntary system of self-regulation. Its core is the concept of self-evaluation through the American Society of Landscape Architects. We assess how well our programs are meeting educational goals, and then the LAAB provides an independent assessment of our compliance with externally mandated minimum standards.
Programs leading to first professional degrees at the bachelor’s or master’s levels in the United States are eligible to apply for accreditation from LAAB. Accredited programs are required to provide reliable information to the public. Programs must report on accreditation status and performance to help potential students make informed application decisions.
