Art history teaches you to look carefully, think critically about visual culture, and interpret the meaning of everything humans create. A minor in art history complements any degree and offers opportunities to build your reading, writing, and speaking skills.
This minor is open to all students and majors. School of Art majors selecting this minor must take 12 additional credits in AHS beyond the requirements in their major.

Our minor in art history offers you the chance to round out your Ball State education with an overview of art, its history, and its practices. This is accomplished through the six-course journey the minor requires.
