Mission Statement
With a focus on the safety and security of all participants, the Study Abroad Office strives to comply with best practices in the field of education abroad to develop and manage quality academic, international experiences for Ball State University students and provide them with transformational experiences that will better prepare them for success in today’s global workforce. Through a collaborative approach with faculty, partner institutions and providers, the study abroad office promotes and supports the values of global awareness, cultural sensitivity, leadership and personal growth among our participants, both on campus and abroad. Furthermore, we are committed to increasing participant inclusiveness by offering programs to qualified students regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, religion, color, disability, veteran status, sexual orientation or national origin.
