A core element of experiential learning through the Ball State CAP: INDY Practice-Based Graduate Assistantship Program. Through the program, Ball State CAP: INDY partners with design and planning firms, government agencies, and community nonprofit organizations to provide graduate students a real-world working experience that parallels their graduate education.
If you are a master of urban design or other R. Wayne Estopinal College of Architecture and Planning student, this program will provide you a stipend through a fellowship sponsored by a partner organization and possibly some tuition assistance. As an assistant, you will work for these partner organizations for 20 hours each week when classes are in session. This experience will provide you with a rich hands-on learning experience and the sponsor with a cost-effective, professional employee.
