Sheila Snider, FAIA, has 36 years of experience in project management and consensus building while serving in a variety of positions relating to design. She served for nine years as the Director of Public Works for the Indiana Department of Administration, where she was responsible for the design and construction of over $600 million in public facilities. Ms. Snider served as the Associate University Architect for the IUPUI campus for 16 years where she oversaw design and construction of campus facilities. She received her Bachelor of Architecture degree from Ball State University and has been very active in the professional community, serving as President of the Indiana Chapter of the American Institute of Architects, a member and chair of architectural registration exam committees for the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards, and as a visiting accreditation team member for the National Architectural Accrediting Board.
